Later (“the App”) is a reminder and save-for-later application designed to help users save text, links, images, and reminders for future access.
Later allows users to save content such as text, links, images, reminder dates, and related information.
The App is designed primarily to store this content locally on the user's device. Later does not require users to create an account to use its core functionality.
Later may request Android permissions necessary to provide its features, such as permission to display notifications and access content that the user explicitly chooses to share with or save in the App.
Permissions are used only to provide the corresponding functionality.
Later uses device notifications to deliver reminders created by the user. Reminder information is processed as necessary on the device to schedule and display these notifications.
Later offers an optional one-time in-app purchase called Later Pro. Later Pro unlocks additional functionality, including unlimited active saves.
Purchases are processed by Google Play through Google Play Billing. Later does not directly collect, receive, or store payment card numbers, bank account information, or other payment credentials.
Google Play may process information related to purchases, transactions, and purchase eligibility in accordance with Google's own privacy policy and terms.
The App may receive purchase status information from Google Play in order to determine whether Later Pro has been purchased and to restore access to purchased features when applicable.
Users may save links from websites or other applications. When a user chooses to open an external link, the content is handled by the appropriate external application or web browser.
The privacy practices of those third-party services are governed by their respective privacy policies.
Later does not sell users' personal information.
Later does not operate its own server or account system for storing users' saved content. User-saved text, links, images, and reminders are intended to remain locally on the user's device.
Information required to process or verify an in-app purchase is handled through Google Play as described in the Later Pro and Purchases section above.
Content stored locally by Later remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, removes the relevant content, clears the App's data, or uninstalls the App, as applicable.
Purchase records associated with Google Play are managed by Google according to Google's applicable policies and account settings.
Later is not specifically designed or directed toward children. The App does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children.
Reasonable measures are used in the design of Later to protect information handled by the App. Users should also maintain appropriate security on their Android device.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Later's features or data practices change. Any changes will be reflected on this page together with an updated revision date.
